Amita Nathwani, MA is a practitioner and teacher of Ayurvedic Medicine in Durango, CO.  she studied in both India and the United States where she received her training from world-renowned Ayurvedic Teachers.  Of East Indian descent, her unique ability to cross cultural and geographical boundaries gives her the skills to help many people understand and address their health from an individualized perspective including genetic predisposition, environment and personal preferences, while still maintaining the integrity of the traditional and holistic principles of health.  Along with helping thousands in her private practice for over 10 years, Amita works with Native American Tribes, and serves as an executive director of a LiveWell Colorado Community, an agency that supports the environment to provide access to local healthy food and cleaner energy resources for the greater good of larger populations.
